Authors can now use ENCAForge to create projects, organize lore, and build a timeline around a story.
ENCAForge now has its first version!
Earlier this month, we announced the site launch of ENCAForge. Since then, the work has been focused on making the app itself useful for authors.
We're proud to announce that the first version is now live!
What you can do now
Authors can create an account, set up a writing project, and begin organizing the pieces around that project.
That includes project details, characters, groups, locations, items, and timeline events. The goal is not to replace the act of writing. It is to give the supporting material a place to live, so it is easier to keep a story's world, cast, and sequence of events in view.
Why this matters
Long-form stories collect a lot of surrounding material. A character note turns into a relationship. A location becomes part of a conflict. A small event changes the order of a whole timeline.
When those pieces are scattered, the project becomes harder to trust. ENCAForge is built around the idea that story material should stay connected, readable, and close to the work it supports.
We're launching with an intentionally focused feature set. It gives authors the foundation: projects, lore, and timeline organization in one account.
What comes next
The next stage is refinement.
We will keep improving the core writing workflow before widening the app too quickly. That means making project organization smoother, making lore easier to develop over time, and making timelines more useful as stories grow.
Future assisted workflows are still part of the direction, but the foundation comes first: a dependable place to collect and organize the material behind a story.
